As a makeup artist I long for the mix of personal style and beauty cause everything ain't black and white in this profession or life, there is always something new to get fascinated by, discover and see"Today I am studying to become a professional makeup artist at makeupstudion in Stockholm -Sweden and I'm done the first weekend in June. After graduation I hope to work as much as possible around photographers cause I love to help get the right feeling in a photograph, all from weddings to the bitter sweet reality and over to the fantasy gummibear world and therefore I am searching for contacts around Stockholm and well all over. I'm not trying to find as many as possible but rather the right kind of photographers, stylists and people for where I wanna go and stand in the future.
Becoming a makeup artist ain't only fun and games, you have to be focused, fast and handle the ever changing business cause there ain't gonna be anyone waiting for you. I'm not saying that being a makeup artist is a bad choice I'm just saying it ain't all glamor and red carpet.
On the upper side of the makeup business you get to meet and work with some fantastic people, travel, make art, and create.
Makeup is either we want it or not a big part of the everyday life, we put on makeup to feel and look pretty, express ourself, and get accepted, but it doesn't mean we have to look the same.
Personal style might be hard to define and often we long to look like they do in the magazines, movies, tv, as the famous actresses or musician cause they stick out and are notices. But why are they noticed -cause they are who they are.
Therefore personal style and beauty ain't something you can define as right or wrong, neither age or color -we are all beautiful and we should embrace that instead of hiding behind masks of the clones.
