Photo shoot with David Sandell with guest

After the Dracula makeup I rushed to meet up with David Sandell to have a short briefing about the days shoot. We might both been a little nervous at first cause but we realized pretty fast this was nothing to be nervous about after all.

We had the shoot outside most of the day on different locations, the model where amazing when you think about how new we are to the "industry" but I'm sure the picture that where taken turns out fantastic!

I don't think I should say any names before the photos are ready to be showed off so for now you can guess but I'm sure you wont get it right : ) Thanks to both for a totally mind blowing day and the pizza was really good.

Dracula Teaser

It was an early morning on my way to school to do makeup on some of the Dracula Musical cast,

but the day went slow, about 15(?) of the 25 people who where suppose to come came and we where 8 makeup artists.

So we had a slow day with a lot of waiting, but all in all it was a good 5 hours.

Bare Mineral Course

Had a day at Bare Minerals, my class had a course to get the diploma to sell and use Bare Minerals. The course leader was really great and made it more than just boring facts, and afterwards we got to try out the products. We even got to buy 4 thing at half price in the store!

I only bought two things, this amazing Buxom Lip gloss "Bambi" that makes your lips bigger for real :p and a makeup belt who works great for now.

After the course me and Joakim went to "smink och perukmakarn" to look at their products and they had a lot of great stuff! So gonna go there again : ) They had good stuff and it didn't cost to much!

Fashion show at Grodan Segel

Had a fashion show at Grodan Sergel with Jessica, Joakim and 3 other MUAs from Makeup Store. We arrived at 18:00 and I meet 3 models from Gröna Lund which was cool, its always fun to meet people you worked with before!

And in the middle of a makeup. We left around 21:00 cause we had the Dracula makeup the next morning at 09:00.

Cabaret at Snaps Bar Medborgarplatsen

I had never been at a Cabaret before and wasn't really sure what to expect but It was so much fun! The music and the artists made this really amazing mix of good feelings and happy thoughts in the stress that soon where about to follow.

I've worked in a few different places but nothing like this before :D First I thought it was a joke, but it worked out even doh someone from the kitchen came in to get some paper and about all my stuff where dropped on the floor, nothing got broken : ) Thank god!

I wish I'd took lots of pictures but I didn't, but this is one of my works and she was really good on the stage! I hope to go back there soon and do it all again ^^

G-Star Event at Gallerian

What a fantastic day, I get called up by Joakim in the morning asking if I could come on this event with him, Daniella and another MUA from school. I was tired but I said yes so I packed my stuff and went.

We where down under Gallerian in this storage room, it was great doh we even got soda and candy! The makeup was easy enough even I used forever on the first boy the look where this black rock-and-roll style which was fun to do .

Joakim and me got all our stuff packed up on our little table.

Well all in all it was a fun night, I would do it again.

Fashion Show at Gröna Lund

It was so cold that day and me and Jessica from my class meet up in the city to get there together and we arrived 15 min before time. But when we got there we realized we had no idea where we where doing makeup.. good work me! I should have asked for more precise details on where it was.. after all Gröna Lund is pretty big. Well I called Meg the woman in charge but she wasn't there yet so we got asked to wait.

Here we are looking for the way in on our own ... :D

And the waiting was cold.

When we realized we had been standing almost next to the entrance .. well I'm glad it was warmer inside :D There was also 4 other MUAs there so me and Jessica got to do the boys. It was a natural makeup so we actually spent more time on traveling that day than what we used on the makeup.

Goldwell hairstyling show

Me and Joakim out on new adventures again and this time we where doing the makeup for a Goldwell Hairstyling show. Before we actually found the place we went to the wrong building.. great huh? we just went one door to short and suddenly we where standing in the EU building or something running up and down the stairs looking for the way into Goldwell.. we .. or at least me, felt pretty stupid when we got outside and someone pointed at the building next door.

Nevertheless we got there in time. The place was just enormous and beautiful, nicely decorated and fresh, I really liked it there.

I remember thinking the day went so fast and in between hair models running between us and the hairstylists and back to us again the time just went out. After all the makeup where done we even got a present ! I love presents : )

Fashion Show Uppsala

In the beginning we where 4 MUAs from my class that where going on this event, but as the day came closer 2 of them couldn't make it. So It seemed like it would be me and Joakim again and we agreed to meet at the train station. Early that morning Joakim got sick, so suddently I was standing like ... Oh shit.. I have to go alone and I don't even know how many people thats gonna be needing makeup ...
I called the MUA who had asked us to come to explain the situation and said I would take the first train I could get to in time and get my ass up there. I only got there 1 h. before we agreed to but it was the best I could do.

Being there was great doh! It was hairstylists and models all over and best of all they where all really nice : ) which I really appreciate. So we started doing makeup 14:00 and 15:00 another MUA from the day class showed up as a replacement for one of those who couldn't come.
I'm not 100% sure but I think I was on the train home around 22:00, it had been a long day but I really enjoyed it! The place was nice the people where amazing and I hope I get to work with some of them again.

Fashion Week W/S 2010

Okei It's been a while but I want to share it with you, it was like the craziest coldest day all winter. The metro didn't go over the ground, the buses didn't show up as they where suppose to, people who could stay home these days was asked to do it everything was a complete chaos. But as a MUA its all or nothing. Me and Joakim from my class woke up early and had his dad drive us to Nacka (I'm still grateful cause I don't think we would have made it if he didn't) and we arrived there just in time to meet up with the others.

Stockholm Modecenter is big! I could easily get lost in there thats for sure.. : )

I took a few picture "behind the scene" I believe this is the show room : )

And here all the clothings are hung up so its easy to find and

change during the show? Looks like it.

Well as you can imagine at a day like that there ain't gonna be many showing up to get there makeup done, most of them did their own makeup on the way there so we ended up doing one each.. :D So we where done pretty early and we stopped by Nacka Forum (a big mall) on the way home, only problem where that nothing had open yet..not even a shady cafe -good for us that we found these Toffee-chairs

Soft Lillys Makeup - 6th April

Had Devi over as a model again just a few days ago, did this eyeshadow who where gonna be more as a jeans/Levis/Diesel makeup but it turned out the wrong way and started matching her shirt more than I was supposed to, but she was happy about it so I cant say I was sad^^

Blue Pearl - 30th March

So I did the "Planet Blue" and made a few adjustments to it, the reason I made such a similar design is just cause I like playing around with colors and shapes :D I missed a little on this one doh, not the designs fault just my clumsy pensel.

Orange eyeshadow - 29th March

Did a makeup for -black and white- photographs that I guess turned out pretty good if you think about the fact that its suppose to look natural : )

I also did this but then again its sad I didn't have a better camera at this point, cause it turned out pretty hot but I wasnt able to catch it on cam :/ Its an orange/yellow eyeshadow that made both her blue eyes and hair to stand out a lot. Though I should put it in here as well just cause I really did like it in person.
